David's coaching journey
Professional Coaching is a relatively new field of expertise and practice within Africa and worldwide. David was amongst the pioneer certified coaches on the African continent. He is credentialled as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is an active member of the ICF. He served on the ICF Kenya Chapter Board for 3 Years and was the Chapter President in 2021 and advisor to the Board in 2022.
David is a certified Hogan Assessment Practitioner, Global Coaching Index (GCI) Practitioner,Certified Executive Coach by the Centre for Executive Coaching (US) and holds a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching (UK). David is an associate coach on coaching panels for major organizations across the continent. He is an executive coach and cohort facilitator with BCA Leadership and contracts directly with individual leaders and organizations through his boutique consultancy firm – Leadership Presence Limited. David is a product of mentoring and enjoyed mentoring upcoming managers throughout his career in the banking industry and has carried on the passion to date. About mentor me
Mentor Me is a group mentoring program that brings together individuals in small groups of 5-7 managers for a structured mentorship journey with David over a defined period. The program is open to middle managers working within an organisational context from any country across the African continent who are intentional about developing management and leadership capacity for
their current or desired future role.
