what is Justbeing Fireside Chats?

Justbeing Fireside Chats bring together like-minded individuals residing in any country across the African continent or in the diaspora who answer with a definite YES to the following five questions:

  • Are you uncomfortable about something in the current status in Africa, your community or your place of work?
  • Do you have a desire to be an agent of positive change about what you are uncomfortable with?
  • Can you commit to apply yourself within a structured framework towards causing the desired positive change?
  • Are you willing to be part of like-minded individuals and work collaboratively, challenge and be challenged, support and be supported over a few weeks?
  • Are you willing to challenge your assumptions, to learn and apply the learning toward a better Africa, community, or place of work?

The individuals are unapologetically ready and willing to be catalysts of positive change in their communities in an authentic fashion contextualised for their local reality. The fireside chats are co-facilitated by David and a coaching colleague, Alan Price Mbida, from Cameroon.
